I Could Really Use a New Laptop

I wrote a post earlier today, but then my laptop decided to be lame and turn off in the middle of everything. It has a habit of overheating (which is strange, because I bought a stand for it so that it wouldn't overheat) and turning off. I am asking for a new computer for my birthday. Which is in 25 days. :) My computer is SO SLOW and makes a whirring noise 99% of the time. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. And I know the overheating thing is not supposed to happen. My hard drive completely crashed in the middle of my freshman year, and I know that wasn't supposed to happen either. I've had problem after problem with this machine, but I've learnt a very valuble lesson through it all:

Don't ever buy a Dell.

I bought a few new worship songs today from iTunes: Everlasting God, So High, Mighty to Save and From the Inside Out. Great songs...!!! I feel as if my life is overflowing with blessings, that all I can do is praise God! I feel so full of joy! No my life isn't near perfect, and I am faced with struggles all the time, but God never ceases to be good to me. It's hard to comprehend, but He loves me no matter what! I can understand exactly why Paul praised God when he was in prison. The joy that comes from praising my amazing Creator is phenomenal. :)

I wanted to write some of the lyrics out of one of the songs I downloaded, so here it goes:

From the Inside Out
- Hillsong

A thousand times I've failed
Still Your mercy remains

And should I stumble again,
I'm caught in Your grace

Everlasing, Your light will shine
When all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes

Beyond all fame

Your will above all else

My purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing You praise

Everlasting, Your light will shine
When all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes

Beyond all fame

My heart and my soul
I give you control
Consume me from the inside out
Lord, let justice and praise

Become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Everlasting, Your light will shine
When all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes
Beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart
Is to bring You praise
From the inside out
Lord, my soul cries out

This song is amazing!! The lyrics are beautiful. Thanks for sharing this song. I wouldn’t know it if I didn’t check out your blog. I just went to YouTube to listen this song this morning and I love it! (I put the link to my blog, so that I can enjoy the song when writing blog. :P ) From this song, I really can sense how ardently you LOVE God! It’s really a powerful song to praise God.  BTW, are u born in May 27? Are u a Gemini? I was wondering what your star sign is. Most of my best friends’ star signs are Gemini!!! They are all smart, lively, humorous, full of unique ideas, and good at communications. The best part is they have faith and passions in what they have interest in. I love talking to them. I am so excited that you are one of them!! Hahaha

Wow! Is you comment sent through velocity of light? I meant, you are a fast relpyer!!! :):)
When I really get tired of studying, I also like to check out my friends' blogs to relax a little bit. I guess you are studying for final exams on Friday. Studying for final exams must be always suffering and tiring. I hope you won't get exhausted and will get good results. I prayed for you many times and will pray for you!:)

I like the song you recommend. It’s very different from the worship songs at church here. I think I like yours better because they are just pop music but still very touching!!! These kinds of worship songs are not very common here. So, I usually listen to AOL online radio (Station: XM 20 on 20, Christian Talk and Top Christian) to enjoy some worship songs.
I like some of them in the radio, but I haven’t found any sounds as moving as the song you recommend. Since you’ve told me about Mat Kearney, I knew you got a taste for music. I will find the songs that you wrote in this post and try to listen to them. :)
